Go Christie Brinkley!

It amazes me how the wronged party can end up being blamed. Christie Brinkley's looser husband Peter Cock, sorry, Cook cheats on her and she still gets the blame. Now that she is divorcing him, good for her, he wants to hide his shame. He feels that he should get special treatment from the court due to his, sorry again, her celebrity and have the court proceedings private. Of course, he claims it's for the sake of the children. Too bad he didn't think of that before he stuck his dick in someone else's teenage child. This has already done it's damage to his children. Obviously he doesn't care that much about his family or this wouldn't be happening in the first place. Maybe he should use this as a teachable moment. Lesson 1 -Don't cheat on your wife, Lesson 2 - Be a man and take responsibility if you forget lesson 1. What a scum bag!

Where's My Stimulus Check Fuckers?!

This is the last straw! This administration has officially hit a new low. I know, it wouldn't seem impossible; the pointless war that won't end, the mortgage crisis, the fuel crisis, the economic disaster and just crappy everything in general. So what does the village idiot decide to do? Give us regular people back some of the money he screwed us out of in taxes so he could give his uber rich pals tax breaks. And the stupid fuck can't even do that right. Where the hell is my money? It's one thing to get screwed over, but then to have the school yard bully say he's going to give you a small break and then kick you in the nuts again is unforgivable! Once they announced the refund I began to count on it. I imagine a lot of people felt that way. Then to have the government totally leave us hanging is such bullshit. I checked the IRS website yesterday, and it was totally useless. Give me my money you bastards!

Congratulations Obama!

I am so happy that the primaries are finally over. I was really starting to feel like it would go on through at least June. I think we have the right candidate for the job. I would have voted for Hillary if she was the democratic nominee, but I wouldn't be as excited as I am to vote for Obama. It was very exciting to have two excellent candidates that would make history. We are so lucky to be witnessing this time in American politics. After the last eight years we deserve it. The difference between the two for me became one of attitude and nuance. Obama played a more positive game, and at this point, that's what I need. If you are looking for more information on Barack Obama I would highly recommend reading his book The Audacity of Hope.

The Primary That Wouldn't End

I am really excited that Oregon chose Obama. The Tuesday elections went exactly as predicted. And yet, I still feel disappointed. For some reason I thought there would be a resolution. I knew there wasn't going to be, but it's still exhausting. I can't find anyone that can say with certainty when the nominee has to be decided. How much longer can this possibly last? Clearly it has to be over by November, right? I guess the only real answer is "Not soon enough."

I Got to See Barack Obama!

I just got home from the Barack Obama rally in Portland. It was amazing! I have never attended a political event before. I got an e-mail on Thursday announcing the waterfront rally for today and I decided I had to go for it. It was the perfect day for an outdoor event and everyone was really getting into the spirit. The turn out was huge! The news estimated about 50,000 people would attend. The doors opened at noon and Obama didn't speak until 2:30. I got in line at 10:30 and wasn't even close to the front of the line. It was totally worth it! The whole family was there and he gave a great speech. I am really looking forward to having the democratic nominee chosen. I am ready for change I can believe in. After today I am even more confident that Obama can do it! Hopefully I will be able to post the pictures I took in a couple of days.

Congratulations Whitney!

America's Next Top Model has finally let a big girl win! It's about time there was another plus sized beauty besides Tyra on the show. I was cheering for Whitney from the beginning, but I didn't really think they would let her get to the final four. Once she passed that benchmark I thought it might be possible, but only maybe. I am so happy to say I was wrong. Whitney is a beautiful young woman who I think will be incredibly popular with American girls and women. I can't wait to see how her year as a Cover Girl goes. Good for you Whitney! Thank you for going for it.

Leave Amy Alone

I'm getting close to recording a pathetic tearful plea to leave Amy Winehouse alone. Every week it's something. So she likes to take drugs. Big deal! In case no one has noticed pretty much everyone else does too. Yes, that includes you people that freaked out when Starbucks closed for two hours. Everyone does some kind of drug be it; caffeine, nicotine, alcohol, food, porn etc. I think we have seen enough disgraced politicians and clergy to know that humans are, well, human. It's not like she's a hypocrite like the people I just listed. So, what's the problem? Let's all try to relax a little and give each other a break.
